Whether you are stressed out or overtraining this causes your body to release additional cortisol. Have you ever noticed that when you under pressure at work or at the peak of your training you start craving something sweet? This is not coincidence and is tied to high cortisol levels in your body.
Yesterday, I was having one of those days so I whipped this treat up in a few minutes. I have tried other avocado pudding recipes and haven’t had much success but this one was really tasty so I recommend that you give it a try!
Avocado's are packed full of vitamins and a great source of healthy fats. The healthy fats will help you get through those long workout sets. They also contain phytosterols which are known to have anti-inflammatory properties. Raw cocoa have a high level of flavanoids, which are part of the antioxidants family. Cocoa is also known to increase blood flow and increase cognitive performance.
